RepExtract

Content & Takedown Policy

Last updated: April 23, 2026

What RepExtract does

RepExtract creates structured workout metadata — exercise names, rep counts, sets, and timing — from fitness media links provided by users. The extracted metadata is presented as a searchable, saveable workout plan within the RepExtract app. Every workout on RepExtract links prominently back to the original creator's source and platform profile. RepExtract does not provide a tool to download or export the original source media.

What creators own

You, the creator, retain all rights to your original media, voice, likeness, and form. RepExtract's presentation of structured metadata based on publicly-shared content does not transfer any rights to RepExtract.

Attribution

Every workout page on RepExtract displays the creator's platform handle, a direct link to the original source, and a link to the creator's platform profile. If a creator claims their profile on RepExtract, additional links (personal website, bio) are surfaced.

Takedown requests

Creators or rights-holders may request removal of any workout derived from their content. To submit:

  1. Visit repextract.com/takedown, or
  2. Email content@repextract.com with: the URL of the original source (or RepExtract workout URL), your platform handle, a statement affirming your ownership or authority to represent the owner, and your contact email.

RepExtract responds to takedown requests within 48 hours of receipt. On approval, the workout is removed from public catalog, search, shared shelves, and individual user libraries. Existing cache entries are invalidated; future extraction attempts for that URL return a notice that the content has been removed at the creator's request.

Disputes and false claims

Submitting a false or bad-faith takedown request may result in the submitter being blocked from future submissions. RepExtract reserves the right to restore content removed in response to a claim later demonstrated to be invalid, and to refer fraudulent claims to appropriate authorities.

DMCA

RepExtract is registered with the US Copyright Office as a DMCA-compliant service provider. The designated agent for notices of claimed infringement is:
