What counts as an extraction?
One extraction is one Instagram or TikTok video turned into a workout. Two things don't count against your monthly 3:
- Workouts already in the catalog. If someone has already extracted the same public video, it opens instantly and doesn't use an extraction.
- Failed extractions. If RepExtract can't read a video, that attempt isn't counted.
Saving, organizing, following, and logging workouts you've already extracted never uses an extraction. Neither does browsing Discover.
Who is Premium for?
Anyone who saves more than a few workouts a month. If your Instagram Saved tab or TikTok Favorites fill up faster than three a month, or you want to convert a backlog in one sitting (see how to turn all your saved Reels into a workout plan), Premium pays for itself the first week. If you extract a couple of workouts a month, the free plan is meant for you and there's no reason to upgrade.
Frequently asked questions
How much does RepExtract cost?
RepExtract is free to download and use, with 3 workout extractions per month on the free plan. RepExtract Premium costs $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year (about $4.17 a month) and removes the monthly limit. Both Premium plans start with a 7-day free trial. Prices are in US dollars; the App Store shows the price in your local currency.
What counts as an extraction?
Each Instagram or TikTok video you turn into a workout. Opening a workout that's already in RepExtract's catalog, because someone else extracted the same public video, doesn't use one of your monthly extractions, and an extraction that fails isn't counted either.
What do I get on the free plan?
Everything except unlimited extractions: 3 extractions a month, the full workout library with status and body-part shelves, follow-along sessions with set logging, the community Discover feed, friends, reviews, and the web tool at repextract.com/extract. The limit resets every month.
What does Premium add?
Unlimited workout extractions. There are no other locked features today; everything else in the app is included on the free plan.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Both Premium plans begin with a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel during the trial from your Apple ID subscriptions.
How do I subscribe, and how do I cancel?
Subscribe inside the RepExtract iPhone app; Premium is an App Store in-app purchase billed by Apple. To cancel, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose RepExtract, and cancel. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.
Does the web tool use the same plan?
Yes. The web tool at repextract.com/extract uses the same account, the same library, and the same monthly extraction count as the app. Premium purchased in the app applies on the web too.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. RepExtract is an iPhone app (it also runs on iPad). The web tool works in any browser.
